Stretch 1 – Section 5 – Lot 3: from 44+100 km to 47+800 km (Contursi interchange included)
The project involves the construction of approximately 7.5 km of a new section of the A3 Salerno – Reggio Calabria motorway. The project includes a twin-tube tunnel, with each tube measuring 2,730 m in length, a composite steel concrete viaduct measuring approximately 600 m and lastly a cut-and-cover tunnel measuring 560 m.
Furthemore, an embankment road section measuring a total of 3.5 km in length is constructed together with a 1.5 km interchange ramp partially in flyover structure.
