Quality, Environment, and Safety

TOTO S.p.A. Costruzioni Generali, aware that management aspects connected to and associated with client satisfaction and work quality, safeguarding the environment and preventing pollution, and protecting the health and safety of workers, constitute an integral and substantive part of the company’s conduct, and sensitive to social pressure, exerted by public opinion, that requires reliability, sustainability, and transparency in companies’ actions and behaviours, decided that the best response to its own needs and the expectations of other interested parties was to adopt an Integrated Quality, Environment and Safety Management System.

The Integrated Management System is the tool through which TOTO S.p.A. Costruzioni Generali, using a systemic and unified approach, governs the management aspects of Quality, Environment and Safety in compliance with the requirements of international standards:

UNI ISO 9001:2015 Quality management systems. Requirements.

UNI ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management systems. Requirements with guidance for use.

UNI ISO 45001:2018 Occupational health and safety management systems. Requirements with guidance for use.

The Integrated Quality, Environment and Safety Management System comprises all the processes connected and associated with the core business of TOTO S.p.A. Costruzioni Generali that fall within the following application field:

  • Design and Construction of Civil Engineering Works and Infrastructure

such as Civil and Industrial Buildings, Roads, Motorways, Bridges, Viaducts, Tunnels, Energy Production Systems

  • and related Complementary and Specialised Works

such as Special Structural Works, Barriers and Road Protections.

The cultural and organisational model adopted by the company is implemented through the awareness and responsibility of all those who operate within it. The Management System and the fruitful and continuous commitment of TOTO S.p.A. Costruzioni Generali in pursuing the principles and objectives expressed in the Quality, Environment and Safety Management Policy are, as of 2010, certified as compliant with the corresponding international reference standards by the TÜV Rheinland Group, the biggest and most authoritative third-party, independent certification body in the world.
