Toto has strategically chosen to integrate the prefabrication activity in order to: manage the entire process on the progress of work , ensure product quality and develop construction techniques for the purpouse of reducing the construction time & costs, as well as logistic equipment. High quality of the product, construction methodology, engineering specialization, R&D investment, use of cutting-edge materials and, last but not least in-house production of prefabricated elements in plants specifically made on site, are the distinctive elements of this business sector. The plant is close to the Sparvo Tunnel – A1 Valico Bypass – lots 6/7 – TOTO S.p.A. Costruzioni Generali has constructed one of the world’s largest plants for the production of precast segments which is a true excellence in the sector. The segment, about 17 tonnes, is made of reinforced concrete and is unique worldwide compared to the dimension of a standard element. The plant is divided into three distinct operating units. With the collaboration of professional technicians and workers, the average daily production rate reached 80/90 segments
