The project involves the construction of new pavilions to extend the Val Pescara intermodal cargo terminal. The total construction area is approximately 45,000 m2,plus a business centre of approximately 2,600 m2 and three warehouses occupying a covered surface area of approximately 21,000 m2.

The new interchange offering direct access to the A25 motorway comprises a station building and new motorway toll . The toll is formed of 7 highly-automated gates.
