- Project value: € 46,131,000
The project concerns a section of approximately 6.4 kilometres of State Highway no. 260 Picente, starting at kilometre 12.34 – the road that connects L’Aquila to Amatrice – and crossing the epicentres of the most devastating earthquakes in recent years.
The stage IV works will take place between the municipalities of Montereale and Capitignano and involve the upgrading of the road surface, and the construction of the Mogliette Viaduct, plus four additional bridges.
The project involves the construction of an alternative section – mainly inside the tunnel – near Marana’s built-up area. The infrastructure will be 1,040 metres long, in addition to the relevant emergency underground passage. The creation of new roundabouts and connection points with residential areas will complete the project.
